Does anyone make a 12 V reduction gear starter for a 303 Olds engine and if so will it work with a starter relocator?

I'm guessing not, but that just means you will need to adapt a mini starter to your engine.
I have an old flathead Cadillac engine and the original starter for the 303 looks much like what I had on the Caddy.
I found a Dodge mini starter that satisfied the depth requirements and made an adapter plate which works fine.
Your situation will vary but still worth having a go.
I ain't saying it was easy but very satisfying when it is finished and it works.
Last pic is what my original starter looked like.

Is that the Bendtsen's adapter for an automatic? How'd it work out for you? I looked at them, but wondered about hanging a flex plate and torque converter on the end of that adapter hub. Any runout or imbalance would seem to put some undue stress on the crank flange and rear main bearing.

Ebb, I was shocked at finding such a big hunk of iron included in this adapter kit.
It turned out to be made not to my liking, so I remade my own out of aluminium.
    Much better deal I thought.
The early adapters like I have, had a few problems, none of which could not be sorted out, but you just hate paying for something you don't get...
I added that extra piece onto the adapter plate to help get my mini starter figured out and that part worked out a treat.
I had thoughts of not bothering with the starter nose support, but in the end I felt doing it once and doing it right was really the way to go.
So I don't ever expect to have to revisit that again.

You would think Bendtsen's would consider offering a mini starter option with some adapter plates these days. I believe the other guy in CA who does adapters does.
