Has there been any progress on this project ? I have some Coupe panels I am trying to come up a cool plan on . Build another steel Coupe shell ? Build a steel Roadster ? Build a crazy 50's Show car custom ?

I thought I would bump this thread as I'd be happy to find out any additional history on this car and spread the word about it's sale to any of your Willys or sports special enthusiasts. I bought this car 9 years back. My vision was a homage to Kurtis with Halibrand wide 5 hubs, quick change rear, and a Hemi in the engine compartment. I found a rebuilt 325 KD500 (most horsepower "small" Hemi) , added some parts, and it sat forlornly in the back of my garage while I gave my attention to a flathead Ford powered Glasspar restoration, Jaguar XK120 recommission, and many other projects. It is listed on the national auction site now and the link is in the ebay ads and links here on thehamb.
