...Albeit this Inspired Hotrod Coupe is by my ***umption due to mechanical details fitting to 1963...the neat thing is if you took out the drivetrain it could easily fit a postwar Hotrod with a Ford Flatty and applicable components...

I like that inspiration...

Theres some interesting details on this Hotrod like the frame...probably it matched the engine...they also ditched the visor...but being it's gl***less and grill less it may just be the stage of build...I wonder what year that was...I'm thinking early to mid 1960s

I agree, this is the real deal. Great hot rod. Looks like a 60's picture to me as well.

 

My friend Bruce Larsons Mr. Clean drag coupe. This car has loads of history.

 

No not sure I heard something was going on with it but not sure.

 

Isn't it great that so many pictures of these cars exist? I took almost no pictures of my cars from the early '60s through the '90s.

Yeah, that's what I'd consider a hot rod. If I'd been a kid and had this "older guy" working on a car like that in my 'hood, he never would've been able to get rid of me.
