Alright y’all, I have this set of wire wheels and I’m curious as to what they came off of or who made them, and definitely the value. They’re a 15”, think 5”-6” wide with a 5x4.5” bolt circle and possibly a 5x4.25”. I know they fit on my 54 Merc, think I remember my Dad being told they came off of a 55 T-bird. I can’t find any manufacturer marks, I think they’re possibly a Kelsey-Hayes, but the being painted is throwing me off. Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Plymouth and Dodge, from around 1955ish. Can't put a trim ring on them. They are a 4 1/2" (Ford or Mopar) bolt pattern. The smaller hole in the bolt pattern area is for the Mopar locator pin that Mopar used.
Mopar Lip Lace. 5 inches wide. Requires tubes due to ****** at bead leaking. I was successful in sealing them with a marine adhesive.
I had some old Chrysler chrome wire wheels on my first car, a 56 Ford and I think thats what they are off of...a 50s Chrysler. By the way, they didn't fit too well and kept coming loose so I got rid of them. I forgot what made them not fit snug.
I know the big circle is 5x4.5” (small Ford) bolted right up to my 54 Mercury. I’ll get some measurements soon as far as width and the other circle goes Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
