if I was looking for one which I am I would expect to pay anywhere from $80 to $800 depending on condition or configuration.. worn out stock original or ready to run race prepped?
all that stuff....ive got a blue metalflake wheel...the moon shoe shape peddle..w/ linkage and mounting plate and spring 55 chevy hood awsome shape.....let me no i can get it or i got it ive got a few friends have everything but just sold wut i want

The prices went down recently, as new gears are available, and posi units are on the way. They were scheduled for the spring. There may be some prototypes running around testing. I'd swap a Frankland quick-change for it. That fit go right in my 55. I'd offer $250, and go up depending on condition. Good luck.
And I'd beat you til you were barely breathing!! I want one for my 55 SOOOOO BAD. Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh
It really depends on what you want to get out of it...ie what's it worth to YOU. If you need a muncie I'd say a m-21 runner would be worth about 500 and a fresh unit 2x that at least (to me). You could trade up down or straight across for a trans. The reason I think this way is because I have two Dana 60's on the shelf. Both late 60's p*** car units w/ 4:10's and clutch-type sure-grips. One I paid $20 for and the other $700. Obviously I got the more expensive of the two first, lol. A stock width Dana was worth gold to one guy and another just wanted it out of his shed....they both sold it for what it was worth to them. Get what YOU NEED for it and don't worry about "market value". "Market value" is the "gold chain" **** that is ruining the so-called hobby. That said if I needed a '57 Olds rear for a chev g***er I'd throw down 500 in a heartbeat. IMO...
well i traded a nice 29 sedan and got some parts and 1000 bucks a few things were worth wut we said they were a few were not so 500 would be worth it to me because it would make up for what wasnt worth it...get it i just need to find someone that wants it.....i would deliver it a lil ways
