It was welded there when I bought the project.....

Cool truck!

That transmission mount looks very solid, but it also looks as if it hangs pretty far down below the frame. I hope it doesn't become a snag for speed bumps with the bottom that close to the ground...

Great truck but why does the firewall look like a Model A's? My friend and I just looked at this 32-33 truck cab in the wild that may actually be obtainable and the firewall looks like a 32 p***enger car's. Not to hijack this thread just wondering.

change one thing ,everything else changes......
had to modify the exhaust and now I'm going to modify the firewall.....

 

Slice-cut-fab-weld .... repeat ... Hot Rods Rule !

That’s a 1932, the 33-34 have a different firewall.

As,soon as I read 351 I said " uh oh ....exhaust manifold issues!!!.... more snort for sure though!!

 

"issues are like tissues, you deal with them one at a time"......we'll see what the 351 can do King Ford......
