I've seen ads for the '57 Chevy bolt-on quad headlight conversions for years but never saw a set installed on a car before today. Can't say that I like it, but it's really interesting to see what they looked like, thanks for posting this.

Craig Owens, are those the original sedan delivery bucket seats? I don’t think I’ve every seen them if they are?
Either way I like sedan delivery’s with 4spd and racing belts! Neat car!

No, the seats weren't stock. Not sure what they were from but they fit the vibe of the car. I was going to have them upholstered in stock 57 150 "cobblestone" material and buy a pair of matching repo 57 150 door panels from Ciadella, but I sold the car before I got around to it. It was a neat car with the 327/4 speed. I debated about swapping the stock generator for an alternator when I rewired the car because it looked like a throwback to the early 60's with that mostly stock engine compartment. Hated to sell it, but I'd just bought the 56 150 and couldn't afford to keep 'em all.

One of my favorite cruise ins along with Donut Derelicts and Supercar Sunday in Woodland Hills. I think DD in Huntington Beach is the lone survivor right now in SoCal.

that is an unusual continental kit rear bumper treatment... don't think I've ever seen one like that before.

That '57 continental kit rear bumper is WILD! I never saw that style before. Was that a factory part? It seems way too complicated of a piece to be made by the aftermarket, which usually just extends the old bumper out, or makes a bolt on style center section, which is most common on a '57. The amount of work it would take to reshape a bumper into that shape would be incredible.

Can't say I love it stylistically, but it's very intriguing.
