I saw the Grand National had been canceled but did I miss the LARS also being canceled?

    Time will tell...

BTW, it was my thread about covid back in Mar of last year where I asked folks if they thought it would affect car shows, that was deleted by a moderator because it was deemed to be too off topic, we aren't here to talk about covid after all; when the topic was really car shows, but never mind that. At the time most folks here thought the idea that car shows would be cancelled was silly. Yep.....

The GNRS was cancelled because the Pomona Fairplex won't rent the facility due to Covid guidelines.
As the LARS is held at the same location, I think the writing is on the wall.

The Covid situation in CA at the moment precludes any large gathering such as LARS. Hopefully by June the situation will improve enough to allow large gatherings BUT given the lead time necessary to organize such an event such as LARS my guess is that it will be cancelled due to the logistics involved with planning it. You just don't print up a bunch of flyers and make a posting on line and boom you're in business. Maybe if the situation improves in the near future it might be still a go but I'm not counting on it. I hope I'm wrong.

If we are all smart and everything goes right, we might be able to safely have car shows this summer... Maybe... But I don't have a ton of confidence after talking to my guy...

I just saw on Facebook where the LA Roadsters voted to cancel the 2021 show. Don't know if it's fact or not.

Google search shows that it is still scheduled according to the web site (last "Updated 10-3-20").

Might want to check back on this link in a few days for an update.
