    That Craigslist picture does look pretty good. I'm guessing without drive train and other items, should go for less than the $19,000.

    I just saw on the KKOA FB group page that Boots Ripley's grandson is looking for the Crimson Skull. It's been almost a year since the last post and 7 years before that. Anybody know anything about where this '49 is?

    Eldon got the name from a full custom '55 Chevy built b Darryl Starbird in '58.

    Ah yes, Ron Dubberstein's Chevy. It later became "Exota".

    and Eldon probably got the name from a 1920s Western. The Misfits' logo came from the Crimson GHOST, which was a 1940s serial.
