Been looking to put a roller cam and roller lifters in the 500 Cadillac engine I'm preparing to build. The only ones I have seen that bolt on are extremely expensive.......rediculously expensive. Anyone know of a reasonably priced supplier ($700+/-) or has someone modified some existing ones?
What I would like to use is some of the Comp Cams Stainless roller rockers but I'm open to suggestions.

there was a post a while back about one of the Cad suppliers not delivering so be careful who you send $$$$ to and do a search for the offending company and the ***ociated thread.

Look at 440 Mopar rocker arm setups . the spacing is quite similar and can be adapted to fit.
Maximum torque specialties were advertising them in the 80's when I built my 78 Malibu with a 500 Caddy motor. I didn't buy them as their cam I chose didn't warrant the expense. I did use 440 Mopar springs after I machined the guide bosses down for clearance. I hope this helps. Great motor that Caddy. Maybe the air boat guys can be of ***istance as they are popular in that setup.

Ekimneirbo, I have a set of the maximum torque specialties roller rockers in excellent condition. Same as the gold ones in oldiron440's post. Reasonable price. PM me if interested.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I just had a very bad experience with that company and don't plan on doing any business with them ever again.

harland sharp has a reputation second to none. american made product that every performance forum on the web are praised for there quality by user's. most rocker arm failure's are installer's fault

Harland Sharpe was/(is?) supplying rockers to Cad High Performance but apparently (?) has severed ties with them and CHP may be out of business due to many customer complaints. I have heard that CHP has tried to open under a different name and another website. A Cadillac website that I frequent has accused the new website of stealing pictures from the site to use on the new site. Don't know if its trued or not but personally I would never do any business with them again.
That brings me to Cad Company which seems to be a pretty reputable site. Word has it that they are now working with the Harland Sharp company to produce rocker set ups for them.

All that being said, I purchased adjustable shaft mount roller rockers made by Harland Sharpe. $$$
There are people adapting late model LS Chevy roller rockers to work with Cads. They are 1.7 ratio, so that needs to be taken into account when adapting, as the stock Cads are 1.73 and other rockers are often 1.5 or 1.6
that doesn't sound like a big difference, but when you calculate valve lift.....or the lack of it, it is a big difference.
