I've only got a few to show since I showed up late and by the time I got done bullshittin' with HAMBers, a lot of people were starting to clear out.

I think this was an Essex (it left not long after I snapped a pic). Whatever it is, me like-sy....

I really liked the way this roadster sat.

    Nice minimalist interior...

    Nifty pickup.

Sorry I don't have more. Many thanks to Nads and crew. The show kicked ass from what I saw and everybody was telling me how much I missed. The 'ladies of the night' in close proximity was a major bonus to dv8.

  2. That is Cadillac Ken's '35 Essex. And the roadster was built and remains with the same owner since 1951.

I thought you'd said Essex, but I didn't want to appear 'totally' stupid. I love that thing!

Man I wish you had some pictures from earlier in the day. The place was packed. We probably had close to 150 cars and God knows how many people.
The show was a totally huge success but man I'm beat to death.
I wanna thank Flyrite Choppers, Denise, Spike, Surf Monkey as well as a bunch of other folks who donated swag for the raffle.
And thanks to everyone who came out.
I'm gonna add a link to more photos.

RatPack, that's Rumbler Rossi's Honda chop. It's jockey shift, yeah it's crazy but then again he's a crazy ol' biker from way back when. Itr's actually quite sane compared to what he's building right now.
BTW he bought a brand new Sporty and he's already chopped and raked it, brand fuckin' new!!!!!!

Dig this engine, I gave it the Hottest Mill award.
A damn supercharged slant six, I can't say I've ever seen another.....

Nads, have you noticed the blower is driven with ONE alternator belt? They had problems using three of those on the old flathead setups. I can't imagine that shoe string is plenty to drive the 471!

    I'm with Swiss Mike on that one. I'm thinking that's a show-blower.

And great show Nads. Much bigger turnout that last year, and some really cool cars. Can't wait for next year.

I think dv8 has some pics that still need developing. Those should be good...there were some nice cars there....I didn't really get to look at too many of them...as were were playing...with the train wreck and all. Sorry Mr. Cash.

Tim, stop beating yourself up over screwing up a song on stage. I heared the first couple of songs and you guys sounded good! I wished I could have listened to you some more, but I was crazy busy all day.
Everybody screws up once in a while, but hey it's just music (no disrespect meant) and you got to be able to laugh about it and carry on.
Better get to work on your T then worry about water under the bridge.

Yeah Tim what swissy said. Don't beat yerself up dude, it's just music, it ain't the end of the world, and y'all were a lot better than you thought. Now get to finishing the T, we need more hot rods in Florida.
If'n I'd known that T with the slant six was trailered it would never have gotten the award. We were duped.
The summbitch still had the whine of a supercharger.

    Oh well.

Next time no trailered cars, except for full on race cars, will be eligible for a trophy.

Yes he did, BTW from what I understand he's been renamed Frank.
He's a good guy, but his head is squarer than Sponge Bob's.

TP, your old Rancho is bitching. It's now owned by Gary Moore, local HoT Rod legend and SoCal Dealer. You shoulda seen the awesome hot rod truck Gary was selling at the show for like $9000, it was a bargain and a half.
TP didja build that truck? It's seriously cool.

CheaterChris, I don't think we need help in that department. We are just brimming over with man-love.
Your club brother Mike is one cool cat. I hope I get a chance to come visit with you guys one of these days, ...maybe when the permafrost starts to recede...
