I like the car. The paint is awfull. You don't see too many 58's customized. I have done alot of internet research looking for them.

I like the car. I even like the paint although it would look better in orange.

The mural doesn't work for me but hey... he's got more skills than me.

The 58 Buick is a pretty ugly car to start with, and the ability to make it even uglier is quite an accompllishment.

I like everything except the murals.... the lavender works, and the side flames are killer, but the murals..... they wrecks the whole car.... nice work, but I am sure they would work alot better on one of those back velvet fuzzy paintings.......

I could see that car in a burgandy with white. The "CHOLO" paintings thing gotta go! Looks like it could be a real nice kustom,if someone with ANY taste owned it.

Anything that is out of the accepted ordinary is going to cause a shit storm...anywhere!!!

The first "rat rod" certainly did...but they are accepted nationwide now...

AND it takes a lot of balls to cruise around in a car that everyone is laffing at...that said, I too, would remove the silly murals and the weird flames and do it the accepted way...but convictions being what they are...the owner must like it.

Damn, I was hoping to be the first to say "Viva Santos!"

But, lose the wrestlers on the hood, and either lose the flames or make them horizontal...vertical flames are bad mojo...that means they're "car is burning down", not "car is so fast that it's burning with friction from the air".

I just dig Santo and all his movies, so the deck lid doesn't bother me so much, I'd like it better if it was just Santo and Blue Demon. But too many people on that car....and the flames too much like purple kudzu crawling up from the ground.

  13. Whatever drugs he was on when he decided to paint it like that...I want some!!!

  14. I think the bullet holes in a line on the front fenders like portholes what have been Buick touch.

    1) I can appreciate the craftsmanship and quality of the work.

    2) I'd have to kick my own ass if it were mine.

Airbrush murals will make a strong comeback, he's just ahead of his time. How many here fancied lace panels 6-7 years ago?

It's still disgusting, just as most lace paints, cob webs etc. are.

I love it and I want to meet the guy who built it. Anybody that can flow against the norm with that kind of skill has got to be a righteous cat!

I think it's pretty obvious what the "response" was going to be.....nice car, stupid paint. This post is a waste of bandwidth.

My main concern is the above pic.....sloppy airbrush work there. The shadows are too heavy and on a couple of those flames it looks like the brush clogged and belched.

The wrasslers rule. :D I'd roll in a car with wrasslers painted on it.

I like it!!! The car has beautiful lines and proportions. The work is outstanding. The color is great for a custom.. The vertcal flames ROCK!!!
I've loved flames like that since the Von Dutch Mercedes. The other airbrushed mural shit I could easily do without. I'd give it a 87 Dick, ..Nice melody but hard to dance to...
