I also decided to fix this area. Wasn't sure how to do it so i just cut it out. I really didn't want to just pack it with filler! No one will ever know.

  4. I remember thinking this was the coolest car being rebuilt on here when you first started posting. it's nice to see progress being made again on such a cool drag car/truck.

  6. You're doing some nice metalwork on it, matching the shapes really well.

Wow I don't know how I missed this one. Great find and I will be following along now. I really liked your T post thread.

I think I have posted photos of it in the altered thread way back but the only way to find them is start at page one and look through them all. :(

Got the rest of the paint done. I have a few dirt specks here and there I might buff out. Or... I might just leave em who knows. My buddies are already ripping me a new one for making it "too nice" LOL! That's the only speed I know unfortunately. :)

Shiny paint is always JUST RIGHT

  22. Is that white on the interior a matte finish? I am guessing that's about a 4" chop?

Yes it's a satin white. And I'd say you're about right on the chop also!

"too nice" and "restoration" are words that need clarity.
    Too nice compared to what?
And when restoring, what exactly are you restoring it too?
The answer to both is not for me to decide but you, the builder.

See I told ya! ;) LOL! Gotta take it somewhere. No such thing as restoring one back to %75. If you do then you have to do some gay faux patina shit, and you know I don't go there! :)

  28. Looks awesome!
