I usually bend my own but I got lazy this time and bought one from Pete & Jakes. It saved me some time but I could have made it cheaper.
I am adding you to my list of people to pm when I need help on my 32 You have some great skills and speed too!! Great job!!
Man, if I were you I would cover the sending unit hole in the fuel tank. My luck is something would end up in there that I didn't know about and cause future problems. Don't take a chance on something ruining your hard work.
My progress slows down in the winter. No heat. South Ga ain't Canada but this makes my bones hurt. This is inside at lunch, high 30's outside
Yall need some heat down there. Crazy cold about everywhere and I am on my 9th Ton of coal here in mid February. I usually go through 12 Tons a winter so when this load is done we should be at Winters end.
Once the body is installed, will you be able to disconnect the fuel line, if you need to slide the tank out the rear to service sender, etc.?
Dumb, 7:00 AM question but are those backing plates on the correct side? On mine the emergency brake hole (on the back side) point towards the front of the car. Sent from my iPhone using H.A.M.B.
The more eyes the better. I am glad to see you finally covered the fuel level and pick up holes in the tank we discussed a while back. LOOKING GOOD!
Yes they are, I just stuck them on for mock up making sure everything fits. I will take it all back apart for painting. Thanks for every bodys comments.
Oh boy! When I see someone with your experience get hurt it really opens up my eyes as to how fast it can happen. I hope you heal fast and can get back at it!!!
