Buddy called that he needed to grease his truck before work tomorrow. I tell him no problem, my gun has enough in it to do it. He shows up and hand me a tube of grease. I say, naw, there’s plenty in the gun. He goes on to tell me that some stole the grease gun I gave him but they didn’t take the tube of grease. Okay, I don’t recall giving it to him. So where the hell are my mic’s I’ve been looking for the past month or so? damn I’m aging.
Damn I was hoping for a cool treasure trove of long lost hidden treasures.....sorry your mind is going.
The only thing I have lost that way was my tow bar that I had for over 20 years. I've got a feeling that the guy who borrowed it left the country though. Had a small floor jack and hand full of tools get stolen out of the back of my truck years ago when I ran out of gas on the side of the road and didn't get back to the car until that evening. I figure that most of my "missing" hand tools are hiding in dark corners of the garage waiting until I empty the garage out some day. Too much crap in way too small of space contributes to that because I'd have to spend a half day moving stuff to find the tools that are hiding under and around the tool box. Some times my hands don't hang on to things quite as well as they used to.
Gun theft is on the rise with stricter gun laws. Hopefully whoever he tries to rob is a mechanic. "Go ahead and shoot!"
Yep.....I would expect many of us share your disappointment. On the internet in general, the OP’s thread title is aka ‘clickbait’...... Ray
Hey Ray, I initially misread you post and thought it said "chickbait"...I thought you were talking about me
I immediately thought of all the fasteners and sockets I have dropped while working on cars and have never found.
I’m with you on too much crap and not enough space. Have been trying to shed as much unused stuff as possible. But now my pile of stuff I’m trying to sell is getting so big. That it’s getting hard to get anything done! Sent from my iPhone using H.A.M.B.
