I bought 2 cabs, neither of them had window channels, I did not really want windows in the truck, generally too damned hot for em here anyhow, so I yanked the regulators and cranks.

I welded some serious backing plates for the door pins, and just cut a notch in the door, then bolted up the bearclaws, they are stout. The lower hinges on each door are barely in there, so it is not possible to get the doors very well aligned, they seem to be the most difficult part to find for the 32-34 trucks, but one day I will find some good ones and do a better job on the alignment (sure).

As for the wheels, just 16" rears ad 15" fronts, steelies from coker. I gave em a good rub in with oil and laquer so they would match the rest of the truck.

I will post some better pics of the steering when I get a chance, I built a fairly substantial structure behind the dash for all my wiring and steering - you can see the supports in some of these pics:

Nice truck. I really like the interior. Just curious, are those seats from the guy that sells them on ebay? If so, are they as quality made as they look, I was thinking of getting a set.

hey, yeah the seats are off eBay, paid a small fortune for the bastards, but they sure are comfortable, surprising - and all I got for cushion is an old 12x12 pillow - it works great.

there are some more pics here for those interested, some from the back. http://www.flickr.com/photos/chrisandrews/

I just had to pull the engine and redo the oil pump, so now that it is back together, I will take additional photos and answer many of your PMs.

    thanks for all the comments!
