I wonder if any of you guys out there have seen this channel on You Tube, It's all about Mart's trials and tribulations of building traditional US style early Ford Hot Rods at home in a backyard garage in the UK. He is a home builder with limited resources but gives an insight to the supreme effort required to build an early Ford outside the US. https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=mart's+garage I hope that this post will be allowed as Mart's Garage is an informative channel and Mart deserves recognition for his efforts. I do not know him personally, but find his channel informative and his perseverance inspiring.
Thank's I didn't realise he posted about his channel, I still think he deserves some more views/support.
Worth the watch, Found Marts old site years ago when I got my first computer.Hundreds of pictures on that site. I find his posts very helpfull.
I watch @Mart every week. He shares lots of information, some review, some new things he discovers. Sometimes he tells you what NOT to do...LOL. One thing that impresses me is the amount of NOS parts he finds in the UK.
Good guy, I have been watching his video's when posted here on the Hamb. HRP Click here to see all the threads Mark started.
....the guy with the funny face in his avatar....... ........20 years on the HAMB ! (next week)..........
I've been watching Mart for a coupe of years now, very helpful and educational for me. Every Friday evening and then Saturday afternoon Cold War Motors...
I’ve used some of his work, what comes to mind recently was getting a broken bolt out of a block. Normally I’d have welded a washer to the stub, the weld a nut, etc. He took a piece of flat bar with holes it it, welded through the holes to the stub that was left and used the bar as the handle to wiggle the broken bolt out. Saved me a bit of hardware and time.
Just hover the mouse on someones avatar and see what comes up at the lower left corner of your screen. Back to @Mart . He knows what he,s doing . He came here about 20 years ago in his little Japanese car and loaded up all the model A roadster panels i had that later became "Old Rusty" . More important was that he introduced me to the h.a.m.b. TopNotch guy for sure.
