Maker Orange ..i Dare Ya!!!

    could one of you guru's of the computer work on my 53???i would like it the same as this hok color on this truck..but with a white flakey/shiny top..i have www's but havent got them on yet...thinkin white wheels???have skirts too but had them off when i took the pic....so....can ya do it?????give ya a nickel!!!;)
    just f around with it and let me see..thanks.....breeder:)

    My brother had a factory "burnt orange" 53-54? when we were in high school.

    yes..there a feller that comes to my bar in a 54 thats kinda burnt orangich..very pretty more door..i was thinkin...maybe a cream top with wheels to match???

    Maybe just white metalflake, or that white pearl like on the newer Caddys?

    what about white flames on the front with silver pin striping. i asked for examples of orange cars last week and got very few responces. so it is nice to see this.

    im pretty dead set on the hok orange on ralphs truck..thats been in my head for 2 years..just dont know bout the top and wheel colors..

    yes, nice!!!i have it saved on my comp...all the 53's zumo did on that thread!!!...i like but dont like the wheels...im a steel kinda guy..still like to see flakey cream wheels and lid.just to see what it looks like.then someone to come here and paint it!!:D

    WOW zumo nailed it, i was just thinkin a set of freeway style scollaps would look killer on yer car. i think it works....

    Orange you glad you asked for help on this? Sorry, I couldn't resist.

    Chevy had a kind of orange-persimmon color in 53-54 that might give you the effect you're looking for with a flattening agent added to the clear.

    yeah...i think thats the color of the one that runs around wayland...nice color but not what im lookin for...:)

    Though about an doing the roof in an abalone style? I think that would work best with a gloss orange though. Zumo's (as always) looks like the one to do IMO.

    im in the process of buildin my 29 sedan and puttin together a show next june!!!!
    so...unless your in NY for 2 years then no!!:D most likely the fitty tree will still be fizz bomb red:( :p
