  2. Who let this old heap in through the gates then...?

Actually - coolest thing was forgetting the kids breakfast cereal so we went across to the Hall restaurant where we sat down with the only other person in there. Some old boy called Norm Grabowski. Went back to the campsite afterwards and no-one believed me until they turned round and found him looking at my car. Guess he was shaking his head in bewilderment...
Of course my kids STILL have no idea who they had breakfast with.

  3. Great stuff.....wish I could have been there this weekend.....

  4. Can we have some of those cars back? Let's see, start with the "Desert Rat" 37 Chevy Gasser, and the green Duece Sedan.................

That green deuce sedan is a French Tudor. Notice the suicide doors? U.S. Tudors weren't suicide. Nothing for us to get back there, was never ours in the first place.

  6. I "AM" French (Italian?). I want it anyway. PS-my computer wouldn't enlarge the picture, plus i don't know shit about 30's cars. But, i like it

  7. HAHA

....And the '37 Gasser is Ex-South African converted to left hand drive!

Not 100% sure, but, I believe the yellow T-bucket with the Flaathead came from here. A friend used to own it or one Very simular to it anyway. he took the gen. off and replace it with an alternator.

  11. Up a tree? Did you catch me taking the kids through the horse jumps on the hill?
Loved that Pop too - kept seeing it driving everywhere!
This was my fave, looked bone stock; fitted with a Peugeot diesel and 5 speed. If you know who's it is, let me know. We chatted a while and I didn't get his details.

Just wondering why all the Ts had fenders and the roadsters and coupes didn`t ........

  21. I've always run the fenders on mine because I probably spend more time driving it in the rain/mud/snow/sleet/drizzle and torrential thunderstorms than I ever do when the sun shines...

  22. Cheers for that Ratty......as for the 105E....I like being married!

  23. its actually against the law to run fenderless over......depends how rebellious you are......or like me if you`ve actually got any....not

We were lucky with the weather as soon as we put the T in the garage the rain started comming down.

  25. Ratman, great pics...AND CARS...thanks for sharing! One of my favourite UK rod's (to mention one, among many) is the insane channeled, tall roof A coupe, and has been so for years. Did you bring a car to the event, which one is yours ?
