I lost a great friend this morning. He had a stroke in Dec and had been trying to recover but lost the battle this morning. I helped him build his 33 ford about 18 yrs ago. Recently he had been building a 29 roadster high boy p/u . I will miss him. He was 77 yrs old . Bill

I'm so sorry. One of my best friends died of cancer 5 years ago. He helped me so much with every thing. I know what you're going through.

I understand your pain. I lost a mentor and great friend on Black Friday a year ago. Everywhere I look I see projects he helped me with. Hang in there and cherish the time you had.

    Sincerest condolences. That sucks.

I'm actually driving my dad to the hospice home tomorrow in the shoebox.

    One last ride....

I've been a mess for the last week or two. I've lost more than my share of people in my life. My best friend died in a 4-wheeler crash when I was 11, and it's been a steady steam since it seems. But this one stings badly....

I hope your memories of time with your friend assuage your anguish as much as is possible.

My heart felt and deepest sympathies for the loss of a great friend. I also know the feelings having lost so many of mine. The sharp pain does subside with time, but the great memories you have will always be there. My remedy to ease the loss is to give thanks that I was blessed in having met the person and enjoyed my time(s) that I had with them. Perhaps that will work for you also. [IMG]

My condolences to you and your friend's family.

It seems to be happening too much these days. I lost one of my two best friends two years ago to a heart issue. I had been on the phone with him two days before and then got a message from his daughter to "call me right now". He was the big brother from another mother to me for over 40 years.
My other buddy has been in a nursing home with dementia for almost three years.

They say people are never really gone as long as they are remembered. May he live on with you for all time.

Sorry for your loss [emoji20] I lost my father to a 2nd stroke but unfortunately he lived a long time after the first stroke, slowly deteriorating day by day. It’s was tough to see that happen to him. Will say a prayer for you and his family. Regards, Randy

Heartfelt condolences for your loss, car building buddies have a special kinship, and connection. We tend to sometimes rely on each other, not only for each's talents, but also sharing time, solving problems, and going to car functions together. It's a truly special hobby, that is a beautiful coupe.
