Hey ya'll....... this is my first "real" post on the HAMB. I hope I'm ready. I did the intro thing about a month ago and nothing since. I'd like for everybody to go check out my site, www.kustomsroyale.com It's brand new and not high tech, but it has some cool pics that can give you an idea of what I do. It has construction photos of " The Grinch " a 1952 Olds mild custom we did that was in The Rodders Journal issue number 29. Also a kool 1961 Chevy Apache that I'm building for Beatnik Mike Shea. Let me know what you think..... good or bad. Robt
We parked next to the Olds last year at Billetproof and I couldn't stop checking it out ('til James moved it ). Top notch work! Bryan
Robert! Good to see you on board man... For those that don't know - Robert runs a full custom shop in Arkansas and is a good pal of mine. He does shit right and will be a huge contributor to have around.
Hey Robert, good to see you on here! I've run into you a few times at shows and around LR. When I saw in the RJ article you had a shop, I've had you in the back of my mind to talk to about setting up the hemi drivetrain in my '49 Fleetline. I'd love to stop by the shop some time and talk to ya. Love your stuff!
With an endorsement like that, I'm glad you're signed up. Now, on to questions... What's the details on the paint for the Grinch? It has the pearly/satin look that I'd love to have on my ride?
Welcome aboard Robt, I enjoyed talking to ya again at Salina. I've admired your work for years and looking forward to your future projects. Kool web site!!!! Happy Trails, Mick
Hey guys...... thanks for the kind words. I'd like to think I have something to contribute to the kustom world. I plan to post new pics to my web site a couple times a week. The project 61 body will be back from the stripper next week and then it'll really get going. The Grinch paint is my own custom mix. It doesn't have any pearl in it. It's really no secret, just a cool color with flatened clear. My personal project is a 1961 Buick LeSabre Hardtop with a sunken roof. It's gonna be bitchen if I can ever get it done. Pictures are coming soon to www.kustomsroyale.com
Wuts up Robert? Galloway here bro. I wish you would get that Buick going so then there would be TWO '61 Lesabre's in Arkansas......lol! Good to see you finally made it. I know your shop keeps you busy man. Maybe I'll drop in some time. p.s.- How's them rugrats?
i can speak from personal experience of robert, i first bumped in to you back in '97 in texas, you were in the yellow 50 and i really dug your ride. since then we've crossed paths at places like paso and the roundup. i always kidded with you about selling it to me. i'm glad you finally did nine years and 102,000 miles later. nobody believes the mileage, especially when they ride in it and there aren't any rattles. thanks and welcome aboard, doug
I like your logo, very professional. I've seen too many shops that let their 12 year old draw up their design, and it typically reflects on the type of work they do!
Hey Doug, missed you in Salina, or should I say, I missed my car while I was in Salina. I hope you're enjoying the little yellow chevy, it's a great car. I'm gonna try to make the Googuys in Ft. Worth, you should bring the Chevy and we'll hang out. Yo Galloway. Still lonely for the kustoms guys in Little Rock. Robt
I think if you added the guys from Conway, you could fill a hand, easy! DrDave and I will have to get together with Galloway and Robert soon!
Robert, Great start on the site. Any more pic of the yellow and white car on the home page? Good luck. Jon
looking good- nice work. Now you just gotta bust out some more projects and fill up the projects page!
McPhail sucks...... Thanks for the therapy session in Salina holmes. Drivin a hot rod is good for the soul. FBBF
Sent ya a pm on some shirts! Going to see VF at the Tiki Invasion this Sat. Should be a good showing. Let me know on the shirts. What issue of the Rodders Journal was James and yer car in again? Thanx! KNUX!
