Before Self-Serve gas was allowed, My Dad's '59 Dodge always had gas spilled down from the fuel door like this. A MOPAR design flaw? he always had me clean it off when we got home.
I thought I should offer you an apology. What happen too me was this. As I started looking up vintage photos of Hot Rods. It seem that I had already seen most of them before. But it lead me to some very cool, and sometimes funny vintage photos! { Like cute girls dressed in doughnut suits etc. lol So I will continue to enjoy my newly found {time machine} of vintage cars, girls, toys, and veteran's photos. But I just won't post on them on here. Thanks for your likes, and sorry for the off topic stuff. By the way, the Mods on here are very fair. I never had them say anything about my post on this thread. But Mark has sent me a nice PM in the past, reminding me of the 65 cut off date. As a lot of my personal photos are from the late 60's. They are the Good Guys, and won't delete a thread for an off topic photo. Thanks Ron..........
Carry on Ron. The rules were likely changed so a busy man did not have to police and manage a bunch of trivial arguments over what constitutes following the letter, spirit & rules over in this corner. Most of the photos here in the 8000 or whatever pages we have all enjoyed do not have hot rods in them, so hot gals is a good substitute.
^^^^^^^ Hay, if I can look this stuff up. Anyone can. Before I found the HAMB I did't have any use for a computer. But you can just do what I'm doing now. Just think of something you like, or liked as a kid. Places you visted with your parents etc. Hit the old search button. You can find things that are just interesting to you, and may not be to someone else. Plus you save the time that it takes to post them here. I really love my time machine, I mean my P.C. lol Thanks again! Ron.............
Ron no need for you to change or apologize. If they don't like what you post they can skip to something else.
Agreed, most of these women are reminders of pretty women from our past when they dressed nice to have a photo, or to be beside a car, bring them on ron, I love them. For those pigs making comments, well....that'll kill the thread.
If the pictures posted are within the rules, then not a problem. If the pictures are not, just report them and let the moderators do what they do. I have screwed up and had deletions as we all have, its not the end of the world. Many people love the Chevy Corvair, I am not one of them so what I do is fly past the pics of the car so I don't see them. No harm, no foul. I prefer cars in the picture somewhere but I don't think an apology is warranted in this case.

I deleted my comment immediately about cars when it was stated that cars were not necessary as long as the photos were old; I didn’t know that as originally I thought they were mandatory. I miss the “trophy girl” thread and this has Ron along with others making up for it. I am not PC by any stretch of imagination I just wanted this thread to continue. Thanks for your comments Ron and post what you like as long as it’s under the moderators guide and we don’t loose you.
You had to have good looking chicks to hide those ugly cars!! Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
That was me and my buddy Mike in first grade with our teacher! We would sit Indian style on the floor she would walk around and we take a little peek once in a while!!! Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
