Tommy is one of the original rodders from Brisbane Australia. A founding member of Rods Inc(the club is still going) back in the early 60's. Tommy always liked to buck the system especially when it came to running fenders on his cars. So today someone did a page on FB showing a bit of Fulton history. His 38 Ute did about 500,000 miles it is said. The T Bucket was very controversial in its day. Tommy has just finished a new project after being out of active rodding for awhile. The spectacular 1933 Coupe!!! Don Ferguson built the engine. I am hoping to see it in the flesh tomorrow at the Cars and Coffee at Victoria Point.
Me too. Last time I spoke to him there recently the engine was still on a boat 'somewhere.' (Tom had to send it back because something was not right.) He seemed calm on the surface for someone with such an expensive piece apparently lost in the ether. I hope those coupe pics are as it stands today.
Wow! This just blew my mind! I read the ***le and thought... what? My racing friend is also “ Tommy Fulton”..... from Muskogee, Oklahoma! He is also a very well know race car owner, driver as well as a former owner of Thunderbird Speedway, the fastest 1/2 mile oval dirt track in Oklahoma. I thought , I know he’s kinda famous around here...... but in Australia, too! Lol Bones
Tom was there this morning, with the car. Looked fantastic. Had a couple of the Cokers shaved yesterday to bring them into round.
I've shared that nasty fendered T Bucket...I wasn't aware who built it...Tommy has certainly done the walk and then some...Rock On Hottrodder... Thanks for sharing @hudson48
