Event Coverage What's Your Favorite Nostalgia Event

I was just watching a T.RO.G video on youtube and didn't see many SBC's and i also know that 2022 will be the last year for the Meltdown, The only nostalgia event i've been too,. I know we've had posts like this for your favorite car show but what is your favorite nostalgia racing event?

 

HAMB drags! Hands down.

 

I forget.

 

I'd like to make the Jalopy Jam Up in Rockton or maybe the Elta bash would be fun too...mostly Cruises otherwise...Someday I'd like to try a run what you got at one of a few local dragstrips...that would be a hoot...



...Most of the Shows I attend have looked like this...perhaps the definition of Lone Wolf...Dirt Roads and Hotrod certainly have a connection that delivers a spirit...

I should say that The Hamb really brings the Show World to my Front Row Seat and I get my fill of The Best of the Best with a few great friends Y'all

Haven't been to TROG but have been to Back to the 50's in Minneapolis.....GREAT event!

 

MELTDOWN, Glory Days and Pie Drags all at Byron Dragway, Byron, Il.

 

Oldies but Goodies at Woodburn Dragstrip and Billetproof drags Toutle WA.

 

It doesn`t matter if it`s the best, JUST GO to one. Been to Bakersfield Kackel Fest. You need to go to see first hand all the nitro burning front engine cars. As well as all the floppers. Meltdown was great to see all the g***ers. Went to the local strips to just go. Onawa and Eddyville Iowa and Bethany Mo Dragstrip as well. Some weren`t big and famous events, but you need to support them just the same.

 

Beaver Pa. annual cruise. This is a real cruise. They shut the whole business section down except for old cars. All day long people drive there cars up the down the middle of town.. Its the greatest!

 

Nostalgia Drags, Milan Dragway, late September.
Lots of folks around here like the Blue Suede Cruise at Summit Raceway in Norwalk Ohio.

 

Meltdowns by far! RIP, (but not the follow up Glory Days) HAMB drags, HRR @ Bowling Green.
