    whats that steering box out of? I'm looking for a box that is a little (actually, a lot smaller) than the stock unit

    I talked to a guy 30 years ago that was on the Bill Strope Mexican road race team in 1953 or so. he said the Lincolns would do 140 MPH on the straights. Very interesting guy to talk to. I had a 1957 Mercury Monterey hardtop with the 368 turnpike cruiser (Lincoln) engine. Beat it's share of 57 fords and chevys.
