check out the updated web sight. I showed up along with a few other Road Burners and we had some fun in the scorching heat. It wasnt the biggst turn out, but a pretty good showing for a friday.

We had a blast tearing up our old iron on the go & whoa and autocross, ok I sould admit, I had a blast!!! My old school coupe was really tearing it up. I dont have any pics cause I was having to muh fun drivin. Hopefully someone ( like choprods) can post pics. I think you have to have audio to really get the feel. I know that the R&C rental car out performed my coupe, but damn that was fun!!!

The driving events went good. You won the most p***es of the day award I believe. I ws surprised that you could push the flathead that hard that long. Glad you enjoyed it.

what a crazy time that was! i would like to say thank you to all the guys with the real purdy cars f'er sitting in the shade all day. we had the track all to ourselves and never had to wait in line to make a p***. i think "highboy" put more miles on that car on the track this weekend than he did driving it to lincoln to get to the show. the best part is, he wouldn't park it long enough to get it to charge so he just plugged it in before he went to bed every night so it would be ready for another full day of 100+ degree beatings! you are ******** bro!

with all the high dollar rides with "performance" suspension setups there i sure expected to see some nice p***es on that track but i guess the were no dash plaques for that and it would be hard to take those corners with a little pouty kid stuck to your tire. mad props to my boys for representing and kicking azz all day in lincoln. road burners baby!

oh ya, i almost forgot. that picture up there with all of us under the hood of the plymouth, ya,don't get all excited, we were just strappin' down my battery before i beat it around the track.

We had fun there didnt we, Otis?? Dont worry I am sure that no one thought that the ol Plymouth needed real work.

do you think we can set some cones up at the Beatrice Road Burners Rockabiilly Road Tour? Maybe at the high scool, if they have one.

if it's the same weekend as the "other car show" in town, we won't need cones, we can just fly around all of the trailers in the parking lot. it would be more fun to run those over anyway!

  18. Thanks Jeff!
Although I didn't make as many laps as you, I had a frickin' blast!
I already have most of the flat spots wore back off my tires. One or two more street-races should do it!
I think the best part was the crowd's (as well as the other finalist's) reaction:eek: to seein' me beat my '32 like a "rented mule".
Hey, If you're gonna call it a "HOTROD",... drive it like one!:D
Special thanks to Kevin, Jim, & the boys from Rod & Custom for hosting one hell of a fun event! It was more like a real old fashioned "ROD RUN" than anything I've been to in the last 15-20 years! Kudos Guys!

    Kevin,
Wasn't the tour supposed to have a stop over in Salina UT. that left from CA. to Lincoln? Fellow HAMBr Elmo Rodge hung out there @ the Hotel on Monday night waiting but no one showed up? Did they just blow right by, because the next gas stop from there like a buck & a quarter away through that part of 70. It was posted on the materials as a stop.
