Your trying to tell me nobody else sleeps with their parts??? Well that was for only one night, but I have a room next to mine that you could probably build a complete sbc with parts. Been meaning to build some more shelves in the shop but havent gotten around to it.

Couple of ideas here I'm going to borrow... I have a 16 foot camp trailer I was given that once gutted became a great place to store doors and fenders and that kind of stuff.

If you're worried about rust in Tuscon imagine living outside Seattle!

I am woried about the rust, but i just dont like to see parts sit outside. theres a better place for them. On a car or in a nice dry storage container somewere.

Model A rumble lid is in my bed room..hahaha
quickie and spare flatheads and parts in the corner of the garage.
Model A four banger in the garage.
Bodies out side sitting on frames and pallet jack/dolly.
Fenders, running boards, hoods on the side of the house.
'46 Mercury steering wheel hung up in the hallway of the house.

There is NEVER going to be enough room for cars and parts.....and parts OF cars.

I like the idea of a gang box though.......I wish I would have made one dissapear when I was in the union.....lol
    would come in handy

got the 'hot rod' project in my mom's spare garage, bless her soul for taking pity on me.
engine under my dad's old woodshop bench, trans and misc. stuff in the rafters.
the falcon stays in my live-in warehouse, thank god i have most of the good bits bolted back into it. a motor bike covered and tucked in to the corner next to it.
endless cardboard boxes everywhere, with three layers of notes on them. "where the hell did that one part go?" a few milk crates with the last bits to go in them under the car. got a carpet kit in the back of the falcon.
four bicycles hanging from the ceiling. two on the ground. an old dresser we found on the street cramed with parts.
did a job for a guy for trade on a sweet new bicycle. half the parts on deposit, shared my bedroom untill i got the job done.

well let's just say i've got them everywhere and anywhere i can fit them. heh.

    gary.

Keep parts inside, in a secure, dry area. If it gets hot in there, that's fine. Bare steel and swamp coolers don't work well together.

Be careful when dealing with insurance companies. It's best to protect your cars and parts as well as you can.

This is my coupe sitting in my old shop, which was on the wrong side of town. After catching someone smashing down the back door in the middle of the night, the key words here are motion detectors, trained attack dog, and shotgun. Fucking tweakers.

Here are sections of two of the walls in one of my secure storage areas:

Don't put anything breakable or smashable under a bed.
Bed frames stress fracture and fall down...

I hang a lot of "light" stuff from the garage rafters but not heavy stuff.
Unless the rafters look strong enough to support a second story, it isn't strong enough to support a car, even if it's in pieces.

This question with a wanted add as a Signature!!!! Thats fucking Hilarious! :D

Oh yeah, for real help, unload what isnt necessary, hang what is on the walls, or hang what isnt necessary on the walls..... until you can unload it get less lazy to in my case. Dont buy more stuff until you got one at least running, then the rest will be necessary!!
