Hot Rods Well, I bought a Thames!

The old rear that tucked the tires in looked nice, but the new rear with the tires sticking out is so much more correct with the era and makes it look tougher.
I wonder how the handling is affected by this? I'd assume it will understeer more with the narrower front track, but be less susceptible to sway. Many drag and street cars tend toward a wider front track than the rear, I hope it works well for you once it's out of the build phase.

 

I probably won't race this, ti'll most likely be a cruiser car, but then again I do have an injected 14 to 1 SBC sitting in the garage.

 

I'll bet your got a strange look from the guys at Cook's when you told them you needed the rear end for your Anglia/Thames wider.

 

They give me plenty of shit regularly, keeps me on my toes.

Not being picky or anything , but I’ve spoken to several Americans who pronounce it Thaymes... it pronounced Tems ... as I say ... not being a wise ass just thought you’d be interested.

Love them little vans... they are getting like hens teeth over here.

 

WAY too disrespectful to call it a thaymes, I go out of my way to say it proper. T E M S Like the river.

Lots of good friends over there. Heck my wife even lived there and married a Brit once. Ask her opinion and your ears will burn from the response!
