Just curious if anyone has found a set of bbc fender well headers that work with the engine set back about 4”?

The Patriots Speedway sells will miss the tires with the engine set back that far. They might hit the cowl, though.

Thanks I’ll have to look into those. My firewall is set back about the same distance or more so maybe they’ll work. What I was concerned about is the steering box clearance to the header. With the inframe headers it’s pretty tight already.

I think anyone would have to guess. The Speedway headers aren't very expensive so even if you have to modify them some that wouldn't be too bad and far cheaper than a custom set and far easier than making your own.

Patriot H8035. I have a pair intended for my '38 Chevy. I think they'll fit your p***enger side fine, if you relocate the battery. Your driver side looks like trouble. They're supposed to clear the steering, but your placement likely negates that claim. I have some old mock up pics if you'd like to do some eyeballing...

OK. I'll dig them up and post shortly.

Not great, but the best I have. I had the block as close to the firewall as comfortable, accounting for tall covers and a fat body ignition. If I chose to recess the firewall (which I'm not going to do) it could go back an easy 4" without contacting the cowl corners.

These are the Speedway on my Henry J , clearing your stock column is going to be your issue.

Yeah pretty sure those won’t work for the drivers side. I guess they could be modified. Thanks
