Remember those funky acrylic twisted spoke steering wheels?

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by Eyeball, Aug 2, 2006.

  1. I have been searching the archives but can’t find the thread with the info. Can someone point me in the direction of who was selling them or a link to the thread? Thanks.

I think they were called "hitman" steering wheels if you want to do an internet search. They were really cool, but no green.

This steering wheel comes with a horn button. No hardwere(bolts, addapter) .........$220 includes shipping ( only in US)

these are imported from Japan. also they dont make these anymore.

Diameter is 13'' outside to outside.

You will need an addapter . I got mine( Grants ) from Mooneyes.

If you use grants addapter, you will have to make (buy) another addapter that goes between the glants addapter and the steering wheel. I made one myself. its pretty easy to make. I think this is the cheapest way to put this steering wheel. I've been driving my elco with this set up for a year but I've never had any problems.
only one bad thing is ,, you cant put a horn button .. I put a horn button under the dashbord.

you might be able to find this kind of addapter at some auto parts stores... I saw aluminum billet(check pic !) addapter at some offroading patrs store in Corona CA. I just took this pic at the store but didnt get it. they are like $30-35 .

The best way to put this steering wheel on your car, find a right addapter(Just one addapter not two!)
