I'd like to see some of your custom motor and tranny mounts. I have to rework the mounts in my COE to accomidate my 350/350 and I think I need a little inspiration....and lots of creativity..:D

how about a picture of the motor hanging where it belongs in the chassis, so we can sketch up some ideas?

I wanted pics of what everyone else is doing..I like to see what rodders are doing for motor mounts..store bought and home made...I need just a little motivation. I did a search on custom motor mounts and not a lot of responses.....
I have a Hurst front motor mount and I need to attach it to the frame and the tranny needs a custom mount as well basicly something the lifts the tranny about an inch and a half..see all of this is to get the right angles for my all wheel drive transfer case....

  6. Unless you are set on the Hurst front mount, why not just buy a universal tube crossmember made for the Chevy mounts? Then just cut to width, weld in the end plates and then bolt or weld into your frame. Easy and simple.

I was going to run this set up while I had the motor and tranny out but this is a 4 wheel drive and a COE so the front pumpkin would be pretty close to the universal tube as the motor needs to sit kind of low in the frame....but I thought that it would work too....
