Not sure if this is a repost but too good not to post again Is that a hood scoop about to fly off or part of the background?

 

Looks like the hood came unlatched, they open backwards. Hinged at the front.

 

Let’s see, you’ll need an alcohol fed Hemi, 5 speed transmission, narrowed 9 inch rear end w/ 4.11 gears, one drag chute, comfortable racing seat, fire suit, helmet ( safety first) , a really far out paint scheme and at least one excuse to hug Ms. Linda. [emoji6]

HAS BBC 4SPD DANA REAR , I CUT THE CAGE OUT AND PUT BACK ON THE STREET
SUPPOSEDLY CAME FROM EAST COAT, DEFINETLY AN OLD DRAG CAR FROM BACK IN THE DAY

Mike Wolfe had that corvette (half breed) at the Rhinebeck swap meet about 4 years ago. I forgot the price but that's his phone number.
