Sorry for the lack of progress I've been super busy, last night I pulled the front end out of the 34 hoping I could easily get the king pins out of the f1 spindles on the axle since they wouldn't fit my hubs and they were welded to the backing plates. The king pins were super stuck so it took me until tonight with the torch and air hammer to drive the king pins out of the dropped axle. I then put my square back spindles and wide five hubs on for mock up. The wheels I had laying around had 6.00s on them so they kinda work but I think I'm going to go for 5.50s when I get new tires. Next step is to put my 46 to 48 truck rear end with 4.11 gears. 1616811982879.jpeg 1616812033894.jpeg 1616812080141.jpeg

  2. Looks to me that you have been super busy.;) On your project. Anything that you get done is progress.:) No matter how long it takes. It looks like you are doing a good job along with school and anything else you got going on. Keep at it. Slow and steady wins the race, even if you take a little break now and then.:p

since you are slicing and dicing what about your firewall...?
a '35-'36 ford truck firewall looks very much like the '33-'34 but is about 4" shallower...
buys you extra engine bay... they are almost the same outer size as the '34...
'37-'39 trucks were the same size but had a handy built in batt box... DSCN1843.JPG
