Hot Rods Please help ID EVM Pump

I dont know if this is oil or water.
I just got this with a bunch of early sprint parts . No numbers on it.
I appreciate any help

 

That is an Eggers and Vetting Water pump for mainly midget race car engine.

It has an unusual drive to me. Most were a shaft with a hex that was driven by an Allen head bolt. That one looks like a socket that went on a square ended shaft with the socket engaging a bolt head on the nose of the crankshaft.

 

That is correct on the shaft. A lot of this stuff was like that
