    Not exactly new to H.A.M.B. as I am often here reading and getting my questioned answered by old posts.

    Geez, 10 post to get out of newbie jail may take me a long time!

    And my 54 - 235, split exhaust, SM420 with 3:55. ; putting in HEI and dual carbs ....

    My 1950 project - it’s a rusty Fred flintstone basket case with a froze up 1953 weird truck 235;

    When I resurrect it, It will be hotrodded with one of three power plants:

    (1) gifted 265 wth power pack heads and four barrel manifold; (call it first corvette v8 so I can claim it is vette powered!!! Just because I can and irs odd but more importantly, that might have been something swapped in

    (2) I bought a 327 block and crank along with it, came a 283 crank... ; always a fan of 327s - I was given the 283 crank but I am not planning a 302 ...

    (3) or might go with a built 250 or 292

    ****** will be t-5 that I bought for the 54 with 390 rear end

    Leaving the straight axle as that is the way it should be!

    From Wisconsin , living in Illinoise but can see Iowa.

    And as for the user name, I have been know to were a kilt
