Thank you guys. I'm the new owner, and will keep it customized. The goal is to keep it in early 60s show style.
I think its kool, not a fan of the flame job. Go through it mechanically and put a paint job on it and it would be sweet. It's a mash up of 57Chev with a 49-50 inspired Merc chop top and other custom sprinkles.
Exactly my thoughts, too. Get it functional, and then paint and interior. Minor changes to get it period-correct, as interior, rear-lights, detailing.
good to hear. will you keep us updated here as you get her back in shape? Also did you find any earlier than the 80's history on this car? I had always wondered when it was originally customized...
I will keep you updated. I'm in contact with a guy that know the builder. Currently trying to get more info.
