Hot Rods Pics of '63/'64ish Corvette Gassers??

There are probably quite a few, Marrs Brothers comes to mind. But by the time folks were building g***ers out of 63 to 67 cars, g***ers were probably around stock height or lower. And even if the had a tube axle, they didn't sit high enough for you to see it.

'Nother coupe... not a G***er, but a drag car - I don't recall where I got this pic from (apologies to the photographer). Also, a "toon" I did of my own car (kind of a g***er and another coupe).

i just ran into a guy last nite at the local cruise nite he had a 55 or 56 corvette g***er last year now he has a 63 split window i seen it last night it was pretty bad *** ..ill get pics next week of it and post em up

 

i like the "toon" did you do it by hand or go to a website or what? i would like to have a pictures like that of my car but im not that talented

i have a friend that lives up north from me that has a 56 (not what you where lookinf for) corvette g***er that was a garage find here localy, he bought it from the original owner and builders wife i have a picture some where on her ill see i i can find it

This car actually ran A/MSP. Had a late hemi in it.

 

Pretty much correct. They ran MSP in the early-mid sixties, by the time those cl***es were eliminated and those amalgamated into Gas cl***es, '65-'66, ride heights were on the way down. Unless of course, you mean ******** "g***ers".

 

FWIW, SP on the side of the stingray someone posted stands for sport production, which was the equivalent of stock cl*** for sports cars, MSP was modified sports production. NHRA eliminated both of these cl***es around '65-'66, SP was rolled into stock eliminator, MSP was rolled into Gas.
