Hello. Welcome to Marts Garage Weekly Update 2021/14.

    Part 1:
In this scintillating episode I remove the cam bearings using a home made tool. Did I mention I love my Willson lathe? Ok, then I fit the new bearings. Never done it before so you are with me while I work out how to do it. Happy with how things are looking I proceed to give the cylinders another honing to get rid of the glazed bores.

    Part 2:
I get the motor all back together and hopefully now it will be suitable for fitment into my 41 Pickup. 41 pickup you say? Not 32 Sedan? Well, yes. I want it in a vehicle that can be driven on the road.
So sit back and relax while I muddle my way through yet another ***embly of this old 59 Flatty, including investigating and hopefully correcting the leaking "rebuilt" water pump.

Thanks for taking time to join me in the garage. Please watch in YouTube and don't forget to click like and subscribe. YouTube favours channels with more subs. Look after yourselves and I'll catch you on the next one.
    Mart.

Thanks for the video Mart. Can't wait to see the ol' 59 flatty run again with good oil pressure.
