I know this is really off topic, but does anyone know aif there really is a value in old fishing tackle?

As I was garbage picking yesterday. along side the rusty tool box with old Ford specialty tools I picked up, I found an old fishing tackle box with two reels & old wooden Rapala-like lures in the bottom of the box.

Pretty neat stuff to look at. There was paper work on the reg. & rules for the 1956 PA fishing season at te bottom as well.

The reels are Pfueger Capitol 1988 & Penn Silver Beach #99

    Thanks.

Depending on how old and what it is, it can be very valuable.

The wood lures can be, especially if there are still boxes. I was talking to one guy at a antique store, he said there are a couple that push over $5,000 each. I'd look them up on ebay, and search on google.

Sorry guys. In hindsight, the thread was selfishly posted.
