Just picked up the motor earlier this week and put it in, took pics today. It still needs plumbing, shocks and bump stops in. I got a buzz so here's the pics.

LMAO!!! I tried posting these yesterday afternoon and I kept getting disconnected during the uploading process of the attachments which was very frustrating. So I would have to retype my message and then add the attachments and boom disconnected again, seriously I tried to post this thing for a good 30-40 minutes with no luck. I remember posting last night or early this morning, I didn't realize how drunk I was, I know what I'm talking about and I hardly understand what I typed. So here goes.

We picked the motor up on monday and dropped it in. I still need to run the fuel lines and some of the other tinkering before its ready to fire, hopefully the beginning of next week that will happen.

[The shocks and bump stops in] = Last week we put in the bumpstops that are actually a four wheel drive bump stop, it accommodates the 7-8" notch we made for the bags. After that we measured with the bags all the way up and all the way down went and bought shocks and put them in.

Alot of beer + alot of jack = bad sentence structure

Hopefully that explains my opening post to the thread, sorry about the drunkin jibberish.

Nice looking engine, hope it runs as good as it looks. I have a 56 230 motor in my 46 Business Cp. Dual carters on Fenton intake, I am running the stock exhaust manifold with 2 in Id all the way back. Head is shaved 30 blocke was planned 10, running 30 over pistons. My machine shop guy estimates about 150 HP, and I tend to agree with him based on performance. Runs great, pulls hard from 40 to 70 in top gear. Climbs hills with no trouble. Gets better mpgs than my single carb 218. Good luck and keep her running.

It should run good, had it rebuilt 30 over 5&5. Kinda suprised me cause when we pulled it apart there was not one piston that didn't have atleast 2 rings busted. Looking forward to driving it with a little more power LOL. That thing smoked like crazy, I even recieved a letter from air control saying my car was spotted going east on 21st with excessive smoke coming out of the tail pipe. I threw it in the trash.
