I hope I have this in the right forum. This is my latest daily driver, well almost. Just bought this car about a month ago from a buddy of mine. He had built the car back in 1995 and since then had only put 55 miles on it going to our local car shows. It's been sitting quite awhile so it needs a little TLC to get it back on the road again. One of the freeze plugs is leaking, the calipers are hanging up on the rotors up front, carburetors yoked up, headlights aren't working. Typical stuff but what a cool ride!
That is quite the score. Talk about a great starting point. Get it sorted and let the fun begin. You have to be pumped
WOW! Only 55 miles in 26 years!! I'd be driving the wheels off it! Very cool for a daily driver. I'd love a daily like this, but I don't think the weather here in the UK would be so kind to her.
Now THAT"S a score I guess I need better buddies...mine just want to sell me a junk '47 Hudson sedan and a rusty '54 Ford 4 door
Pffft ...... show off 55 miles ?!? Jeez she’s not even broke in yet, score !man that thing is just too cool! And we need MOAR pics !!!
One at a time , mines the oldest car I've ever owned , took me several years to get it like I wanted and because of my lack of expertise , equipment and flexibility I chose to pay the right person to do the work. So enjoy your new 32 make it yours ,and get to the 40 when your up to it , it's in a safe secure place , drive safe ,love that 32 !!!!!
Love the coupe, what a great score for you. Bonus points for the Ford in a Ford. Love it. My Dad passed 22 years ago and he was no fan of cross breeding. But he'd give your entire collection thumbs up. Pic is my Dad and his 'vert back in the late '40s. He loved convertibles. Congratulations
I really enjoy hearing the stories about families and the cars that they used to have. The pictures of family members next to their pride and joy from so many years ago brings back such great memories! This is a picture of my grandfather and my mother sitting on the running board of a 30-31 Ford coupe. This was a company car for the associated telephone company back in the day.
