Does anyone know if this a straight axle car?

Truth be told mine are technically not in the correct place either or so I’ve been told. They are either a little too high or a little too low but I can’t remember any more!

This car belonged to my good friend, the late Kelvin Polonich of Saskatoon, Sk. The ironic thing about this car is Kel owned one of every body style 55 Chev car built, as well as a few different 55 trucks. What did he go racing in? a 56.... This was one of his 55's. Painted in the early 70's and still looks the same today.

 

Anybody know what chrome is on the side of this car? Buick maybe? I like it!

They are a little to pricey for me but I think that they did a neat job with one.
