Hey guys I own a 1964 Chevy bel air 3.8 inline six currently with all round drum brakes, I ordered and received a full disc/disc brake conversion front and back and I just realized that I obviously should and will have to replace all the lines, it came with a new master cylinder and 8 inch brake booster and proportional valve set up, I’m new to messing with brakes and lines realistically and wondered if anyone had a suggestion in how to run the lines, I figured just hard line, I’m not sure if 3/16 line all round is the way to go? Or does the line being send to the rear of the vehicle have to be a differ size? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated and thank all you guys as always for being rad. Cheers- petey

I'm fairly certain you can buy a complete line kit for your Chevy, you would need to only modify as needed.

The set-ups I'm familiar with have one single line to the rear and two at the front.

If this is the case for you, then replace the left front completely. Tie into the right front at the left side "T" and tie into the rear at the right side "T".

You may want to change the spelling of your ***le...

And yes, standard 3/16" line is common a**** most all cars for drum or disc.

I’ve got that exact vehicle, although I’m leaving mine drums, I’ve done this swap on a 61 Biscayne. I purchased the car with a kit in the trunk, and ordered a pre-bent line kit from Cl***ic Tube. Did the same on my 69 Malibu Wagon. Lines fit great, but did have to use one funky adapter to tie the main line feeding the rear to the line coming out of the prop valve. Other than that, well worth the $100 or whatever it was.
