Just finished painting my '39 Chev coupe, and looking to find someone to pinstripe it here in my area. I know Mitch Kim's work, and have his contact info, but looking for others in this area if anyone knows of anyone? Thanks! Car is severely needing something to the lack of chrome, and pinstriping will help a lot I think.
I'm sure you already know this but you won't find a better striper or nicer person than Mitch. Now, I know @Bandit Billy had his roadster done by someone else in the PDX area when (I think) he was about to put his car in the Portland Roadster Show in ? 2019 and apparently Mitch was booked.
Don (spiderman) is out of commission. I had him do my Austin, and like it a lot. But he got some serious spinal infection, and had surgery to remove the infection, so not doing anything but small jobs at his work table. I talked with him already.
Not sure who Bandit Billy is? I totally agree on Mitch and everything you said. But this isn't a high end show car, and I'd like to keep the budget a bit lower than Mitch's higher rates. He's well worth it, just my car isn't.
I expect he'll check when he's finished chasing those little white balls around....................... Or when happy hour is over, whichever comes first.
I'm not sure if Brad is still doing this or not. A talented guy, decent prices and quick. Hillsboro area.... (bertrampinstriping.com) Call Brad at 503-780-5576 Or Email: mooneybg@comcast.net
I'd say you might find some almost as good as Mitch Kim but you are going to have to hunt pretty hard to find anyone better. Still it is hit events, check out striping and when you see a job that you really like ask who did it. When you find several that you really like and get the same answer you have found your striper.
By the time that Mitch Kim would finish your car , it's value would have increased more than you think . Have Mitch do it , you'll be more than happy and everyone else will love it !
Ill have to look and see if he is still doing it, but Bob "Spirt" Spencer has always done the work on our stuff. I have not talked to him though in a couple years so not sure if he is still doing it. He works out of Beaverton/Hillsboro
Go on line or e bay and buy yourself a Bugler striper and some one shot lettering enamel. You can do this yourself . I have one and works great for what you are looking for . Vic
