Here are a couple of pics of a junkyard that hasn't been open to the public since the late 60s. The guy that has it will not sell stuff out of it. It is a real shame. Some of the cars are not too far gone to be saved. There is everything in there from a 32 sedan to Desoto grills. The junkyard covers a 100 acres of woods. You can drive right by it and not know it's there. For the guys that went on the junkyard tours...we did drive by it. Clark
What a shame !!! What the hell does he think is going to happen to them?????Some people are really weird !!!
Sawzall...There is a Olds wagon just like it in there too. It's in about the same shape. I wanted it but he won't cut loose with anything This guy is paranoid. He thinks everybody is out to get him. These pictures were taken 10 years ago. He hasn't let anybody take pictures since these. He won't take anybody in either. He wanted me to paint his car so I did get a few things off of him, but I built my father a car before painting his and now he's not happy with me. Sorry my father's more important!! Clark
[ QUOTE ] For the guys that went on the junkyard tours...we did drive by it. Clark [/ QUOTE ]Does that include me???
Unreasonable people really piss me off. Hot Rodder: "What are you going to do with all those cars?" Car Itiot: "Nothing." HR: "Is that stuff for sale?" CI: "Nope." HR: "Why won't you sell it?" CI: "I dunno." HR: "So, you'd rather this stuff rot away so that others can't enjoy it and it will be too far gone to see, for NO REASON?" CI: "Yep."
this is why they crush stuff people like this!!! they are sitting on there kids future ???then the developer come and crush it all . We use to have a whole slough of old timey wrecking yards here. All crushed. even in the ghetto the property values went up and now its redevelopment and the goverment pays big there is a super kool old theater in the next town the goverment will pay someone to reopen it and fix it up its only a matter of time and those cars will be history
hey clarkie..dick... 100 acres..is a lot of woods...can't possibly have it all covered by trip wires...i got some flashlights..what do you say to snappin some late night footage? haha
there ought to be a hot-rodders eminent domain on people like this. maybe he has his reasons - but what a waste. if nothing else, can you imagine how high he could be living with all the cash he'd make off of people like us? its like a PA oil field. my 2 cents kooter
[ QUOTE ] hey clarkie..dick... 100 acres..is a lot of woods...can't possibly have it all covered by trip wires...i got some flashlights..what do you say to snappin some late night footage? haha [/ QUOTE ] Tokyo, im really considering heading over their in night vision goggles, and taking that 32 sedan... Come pick me up and you got one big ass kid to lift any heavythings.. Im dead serious.
Anybody raiding that treasure yard, I'll go in as well. Definitely.... We could pull the Spies like US trick, dress up as aliens as scare him into psychosis.
This just makes me sick Clark...... I sometimes think these guys are expecting someone to come in and offer them millions for the whole shabang. I hope he dies soon so that his kids will sell it before someone decides to crush them. There's a guy near me who just bought a large old yard in the northwest and is going to move it to Ohio. Car by Car. I guess this thing doesnt have any cars newer than 1950. I can't wait.. he has about 500 acres on his farm and plans to sell them from there. Now this is better than any Christmas I ever remembered. I thought I'd give you guys some good news for a change to make you feel alittle better.
Anyone up for a road trip? I've heard about a four door Merc. - an abandoned project...half finished somewhere up north. We could swing a wide arc through Jersey to pick up an old chopped Ford that's just sitting in some wanker's garage too. "I hope he dies soon?" Really? Holy shit.
where in Jersey? I know of a ol junk yard deep in the woods in North Jersey. Never been their but my pop has.. he says you walk about 2 miles in, and here are these 200-300 Pre 59 rides... Only Prob, is the owner of the property is a Wako (high prices, cause he has no idea what its worth) and theirs no way to get back their with a truck... only way is to Have a backyard chop shop, or get 6-10 guys to flip it side ways and carry it out (body only).. I say we head over to that PA junkyard, and get me that sedan body.... Once again, im really DEAD serious...
This guy is that paranoid he has a camera mounted in a tree to take pictures on intruders. I wanted to steal the camera and take some pictures of some really ugly naked women and put it back This guy is in his 60s and his father is the 90s and still going strong. It is a shame!!! Clark
What part of Jersey do you live in? Maybe this car is close? All I know is it is a 41 Ford that has been chopped and is sitting in a shed with some other parts half finished. Looks abandoned so it should DEFINITELY be taken by someone who will finish it.
"For the guys that went on the junkyard tours...we did drive by it." Yeah, it was one of Clarks famous "shortcuts".
[ QUOTE ] This guy is that paranoid he has a camera mounted in a tree to take pictures on intruders. [/ QUOTE ] ARE YOU SERIOUS!!!!!!!! I had a dream.. We go and buy 2 tickets to some kind of restruant, for him and his wife. And put a date for a late Saturday night... We watch in the bushes as they leave, We get some guy to be a stake out down the road or at the resturant to make sure we wont get caught... When they get their, we put ski maskes on, 4-6 of us, pick up the whole body, possibly the frame too... we load it on a flat bed.. when we leave, I'll throw a grand in the mail box with the guys name... Ill treat you guys out for a nice big steak dinner, and we'll call it a night... Shouldnt take more than 30 minutes to do the action.... If they have a cam in the tree, Im young, ill just climb up their and throw a blanket on it..... I know its illegal, and disrespect to take a guys car.. but its for the better car and for the guy... what ya think? steve-
Rat Rodder, you pay for airfare from Tucson and I'm in. Dead serious. To all you out here in Tucson: I heard of some abandoned yards in the Snyder Hill/ Gates Pass area. I haven't found any yet, looking for any info on a location. Thanks in advance.
