Is that a Z06 master cylinder or are my eyes

Dave, is there a Z06 registry by serial number? If I remember right they were all built about the same time.

I don’t know about this green 63, but the Z06 and the big tank were separate options and the Z06 could be ordered with the standard tank or the 36.5 gal fibergl*** tank.

My understanding is that Z06 , is mainly the race brake option.

The Z06 includes the fuel injection engine, trans, brakes, and suspension. As Dave said the tank was separate.

My friend Ray Testaseca from Astoria NY. I think that is one of my pix El, taken at Dover Drag strip around 64/65. Ray a retired cop was living in Ft. Lee NJ about 5 yrs. ago.

This was posted elsewhere by South Omaha Speed Shop. He tried to buy it at auction in Nebraska and I believe that it sold for $18,500
I believe that it was in 2017 and that it was a 1957 but who knows. Look at the radio delete plate in the picture that I added.

Even when they are stock it can be a challenge to tell a '56 from a '57 and this car has several custom touches. Based on the hard top and the mirror on the dash, both unreliable indicators, it might be a '56.

I definitely prefer this over the pro street tubbed set up! Looks good.
