Night before the show . Got finished after 2 AM . Tired. It seems like if it were not for a deadline I would not get anything done

The Omaha Coupe sporting its first sponsorship. This photo is a screen shot from a 1953 video I had the opportunity to watch for the first time list night . It was filmed at the Scribner NE airbase . In the film there is 50s fighter landing on an adjacent runway! At one one point in the video the coupe is shown racing a Harley Davidson that is believed to be Chet Herbert’s famous “Beast” hope my buddy can get the video into a format I can share on here .

I slid over to T-dog's shop in my 34 this evening to check on progress. We shot the **** and I watched as Tom made some paper templates to make frame boxing plates for the old 3 window.
Also clicked a photo of the 303 Olds engine with the ultra cool transmission adapter and even has the right-side-starter swap. This thing is gonna be so cool! tdogboxingplates.jpg tdogoldsmotor.jpg

Trying to get the rear cross member centered in the rear wheel wells. I pulled off the rear spokes off our 28 A. These 7:50s are much taller then the White walls I was using as rollers. The larger dia is making it easier to see if I have the axle centered correctly. 49EC2A21-3D57-4267-A08E-296FBDD020FF.jpeg

Going to take some time away from caregiving to just say: I think every 33/34 owner here is watching this thread with appreciation and awh with your talents and dedication. Amazing that this treasure has been found by you and is in your hands. I deeply appreciate your postings on your progress and like everyone else here can hardly wait to see the final rendering of your remarkable comeback creation of this absolutely stunning '33 three window.[IMG]

Thank you Larry ! I appreciate it . Trying hard over here to make the forefathers of the hobby proud . I don’t want to screw this thing up! The pressure is on. Recently got a goal to shoot for in October. I have no idea if we can finish it enough to race down the sand in NJ, but me and some buddies going to give it a shot !

Thanks again for the kind words

    Tom
