Technical Axle identification

I have a chevy straight axle I'm trying to figure out the year and what it came out of? Can someone help me out. Axle casting number is 892504GM18. Horizontal bolt holes measure 3 1/2 inches. Vertical bolt holes 3 inches. 7/16 bolt holes.

Are the spring pads angled in, wider at back and narrower at front ?
What's the width of the spring that would fit between the U-bolt holes, a photo of the whole axle may help too ?
