I bought a 30 model a tudor to build a hot rod. It came with this additional axle. It looks different from the axle on my model a. Can anyone help me identify oit? My tudor has a straight axle also but looks different. The "eyescrews" that are on the spare are not on my axle. Any help is appreciated.

Probably added at some time in the last 100 years by an owner for their own reason.

Model A Ford. It may have been on a trailer and that was a way to lock the wheels straight with a bar or something.
