Hey, been away out west for a couple of weeks, although have been home 2 weeks now. Attended an NNL model show here on the west coast (Perth actually).Got a bunch of stuff to put into photobucket to show here, when I get around to it.
As usual I bought a bunch of new stuff when I was in Perth, mostly diecast.
Yesterday I started to unscrew some of the diecast to see what I could do with some of them. Basically the model here is the Jada D rods ramp truck that I am fitting with the rear fenders of the big swoopy orange Hot Wheels boat-tail custom roadster.
Unfortunately the scale of this ramp truck is to small for my black '34 roadster race car to go on the back. So I think a Jada Von Dutch Harley will ride on the back o this truck.
Still a fair bit to do, but for an hour's work it is looking good so far. Geoff aka whodaky

Those rear fenders are a natural for that hauler. Nice match-up!

Hey Mike...this is what I've done with the '53 I bought from you!

Roof from the AMT '49 Coupe (I know, it's not technically correct for a '53 sedan, but I think it looks good regardless). Heightened and blended in the front of the '53 roof. Nosed an decked, fender/door trim filled, headlight rings molded in, narrowed '56 Chevy front bumper and '54 Chevy grill bar. Using the kit tires with wheel from the AMT '62 Catalina custom version (another one I got from you Mike).

This is the first coat of primer. After a bit more bodywork, it will get covered in a satin pearl blue.

Wow!! That '53 looks way cool. Nice custom work the back half of that roof looks like it belongs there. I'm impressed and inspired. I have some old kits that I customized along time ago. I should post 'em just for the hell of it. Have you heard of David Anthony Garcia? He showed me how to customize models. He's the one that built the Lifestyle Las Vegas Lincoln lowrider a**** other awesome models. See ya. Nice work. :D

Nice cutting and paisting. I said it before, this Hamb place inspires me.
I'm so glad theres a place to share my Ideas and work. I'm teaching my !2 year old son some customizing technics on a model. He described exactly what he wanted to do to an old Chevy pic-up and I drew one up quick.
    It's a radically chopped/sectioned and channeled '50 1500 Lakester. My first
true attempt with curved parts. I'll get some pictures up soon. Maybe next Sunday.
